Micro-analysis of sound in a scene

This scene is taken from the film baby driver the scene shows the characters planning their next heist.

The audience first hears the song Unsquare dance which is a diegetic sound as it's playing through the character Baby's earphones slowly they fade in the character, Doc's voice and fade out the music. As the voice fades in the camera focuses on Kevin Spacey's lips conveying to the audience that Baby is listening through lip reading and the audience is hearing and viewing the meeting through his perspective. The music continues to fade until it becomes a background noise and the dialogue between the characters becomes more central. However as the music is fading this allows the audience to hear different background noises such as chairs squeaking and Baby sunglasses being removed giving the scene more of a realistic feel. Baby then begins to talk as his song ends this allows the audience to hear even more background noise such as police sirens which creates the feeling of an unsafe environment increasing the audiences apprehension. The Character Baby's dialogue continues until the end of the scene.
